Every morning I make myself a "power smoothie" and every morning I try to get my kids to drink it and they say no way. oh well. i'll keep trying.
Here's what goes in my smoothie:
kale
spinach
any dark greens
flax oil
flax seed
kefir probiotic
almond milk
tad bit of pure honey
apple
orange (this helps with the taste)
antioxidant berries (i get the big bag from costco - $9)
avocado (sometimes. this makes it very thick and pudding like).
This is a GREAT way to get in tons of vitamins and nutrients and it IS yummy! seriously.
